The Power of the Pivot: No More Procrastination
⏳ The Power of the Pivot:
No More Procrastination
📖 "I
can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." — Philippians 4:13, NKJV
💭 Reflective Devotional
Thought
Life has a way of moving
so fast that we often stay on autopilot, even when the "check engine"
light is blinking in our souls. The Lord is speaking a word of divine
intentionality to us today: It is time to re-evaluate. We are currently in a
"fleeting moment in time." This isn't meant to cause anxiety, but to
provide clarity. When you look at your habits, your relationships, and your
daily routine, what do you see? Often, we realize that the way we lived in the
last season doesn't quite fit where God is taking us next. Usually, there is
something—a small habit, a lingering resentment, or a misplaced priority—that
requires an adjustment.
The greatest enemy of your
next level isn't always a lack of resources; it’s procrastination. We tell
ourselves we’ll change "when things settle down" or "next
month." But God is saying now is the time. You might feel like you
don't have the energy to make the change, but remember the promise of
Philippians 4:13. You aren't adjusting in your own strength; you are doing it
through the Christ who strengthens you. Don't let this window of opportunity
close. Make the adjustment today.
🙏 A Heartfelt Prayer
Lord, I thank You
for Your timing. I ask that You would give me eyes to see my life clearly
today. Show me the areas where I’ve drifted or where I’m holding onto things
that no longer serve Your purpose for me. I repent for procrastinating and
waiting for the 'perfect' moment. I receive Your strength right now to make the
necessary changes. Thank You for empowering me to do what needs to be done. In
Jesus’ name, Amen.
