Standing Strong When the Way Is Not Your Own
📖 "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be
afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will
not fail thee, nor forsake thee."
— Deuteronomy 31:6, NKJV
💭 Reflective Devotional Thought
We all eventually hit a wall where our
talent, our money, and our connections simply aren't enough. It’s that
uncomfortable space where a problem exists—a legal matter, a health issue, a
broken relationship, or a financial hurdle—that we literally cannot fix for
ourselves.
In those moments, our natural instinct
is to panic. We pace, we lose sleep, and we try to force a resolution. But the
Lord is speaking a different word over you today: "Do not panic."
God is reminding you that your inability
to solve the problem does not mean the problem is unsolvable; it just means
it’s a "God-sized" task. He is promising to show you the way to a
resolution, but He is also asking for something that is often harder than the
work itself: patience. True strength isn't always about charging forward;
sometimes, standing strong means staying steady while God moves the mountains
you can't touch. The resolution is coming. The way will be made clear. Your job
right now isn't to fix the unfixable—it's to remain anchored in the One who has
never failed you.
🙏 A Heartfelt Prayer
Lord, I admit that I’ve been trying to
carry a burden that was never meant for my shoulders. I feel the urge to panic
because I cannot see the solution, but I choose to trust Your Word instead.
Thank You for being the Waymaker in my life. Grant me the patience to wait for
Your timing and the strength to stand firm when I feel weak. I place this
situation in Your hands, knowing You are already working it out for my good.
Amen.
