Finding Stillness in the Shift: Your Season of Transition
"Quiet your soul, and seek Me for
solace."
📖 "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is
working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do
not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.
For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen
are eternal."
💭 Devotional Thought
We often treat "transition"
like a waiting room—a place we want to exit as quickly as possible. It feels
awkward, uncertain, and, as the Lord reminds us, uncomfortable. You might find
yourself looking back at "better days" with nostalgia or looking
forward to the future with anxiety. But there is a sacredness in the now.
The message today is a gentle invitation
to stop wrestling with the clock. God is calling you to quiet your soul. Why?
Because solace isn't found in the resolution of your circumstances; it’s found
in His presence during the shift.
You’ve seen worse days, and you’ve seen
better, but these current days are the ones where the real work is happening.
Think of it as spiritual "growing pains." This phase isn't a detour;
it is a vital bridge to your spiritual development. It won't last forever, but
the "eternal weight of glory" it is producing in you will endure long
after this season has passed. Give thanks today—not necessarily for the
discomfort, but for the Divine Architect who is using it to build something
unbreakable within you.
🙏 Heartfelt Prayer
Lord, I come to You today with a
restless heart, seeking the solace only You can provide. Forgive me for
grumbling about the discomfort of this transition. I thank You that this season
is temporary and that You are using it for my growth. Help me to take my eyes
off my "light afflictions" and fix them on Your eternal promises.
Quiet my soul and let me feel Your peace in the middle of the change. Amen.

Call to Action
Practice "The Holy Pause."
Three times today, set a timer for two minutes. Close your eyes, breathe
deeply, and consciously hand over one specific "uncomfortable" detail
of your transition to God. Replace that worry with a simple "Thank You for
growing me."
