🔭 Setting Your Spiritual Scope:
Positioning for Divine Revelation
📖 "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the
earth."
— Colossians 3:2, NKJV

Reflective Devotional Thought
We
often live our lives based only on what we can see, touch, and logically figure
out. We plan our futures using our past experiences as a template. But the Lord
is trying to disrupt your routine thinking today with a thrilling promise:
There are things He wants to reveal to you that you have not even considered
yet.
God
operates beyond the borders of our imagination. He has fresh insights for your
problems, new directions for your career, and deeper dimensions of His love
waiting for you. The barrier to receiving these insights isn't God's
willingness to speak; it is our positioning.
To
hear what has not yet been considered, you have to look where you have not yet
looked. It is entirely a matter of focus. When our minds are constantly locked
onto earthly distractions, scrolling feeds, and daily anxieties, our spiritual
ears become clogged. Colossians 3:2 gives us our marching orders: Set your
mind on things above. When you intentionally pull your focus away from the
noise of the earth and seek His face, you create a landing strip for divine
revelation. Expect Him to show you things that will blow your mind and build
your faith.
🙏
A Heartfelt Prayer
Lord, forgive me for keeping my expectations so small and my
focus so earthly. I believe that You have greater things to reveal to me than I
could ever dream up on my own. Today, I intentionally reset my focus. I set my
mind on things above and position my heart to receive Your wisdom. Speak to me,
Lord, and show me the path, the solutions, and the revelations You have
prepared for this season of my life. Amen.

Call to Action
The
"Unplug and Look Up" Session. Today, schedule 15 minutes of absolute
media silence. Leave your phone in another room, grab a notebook, and sit
quietly before the Lord. Begin your time by quoting Colossians 3:2, and then
simply ask: "Lord, what are the things You want to show me that I
haven't considered?" Write down any thoughts, scriptures, or
impressions that come to your heart during that time of focused seeking.
