🛡️ Guard What Is Precious

🛡️ Guard What Is Precious

📖 “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” Galatians5:16, NKJV

🧭 Devotional Thought

There are moments when the Lord calls you to pause and protect what truly matters. Not everything deserves access to your heart. Some things strengthen you, while others slowly erode your peace, your values, and your spiritual clarity.

God urges you to put up a shield—not out of fear, but out of wisdom. The enemy works subtly, attempting to tear down what God is building in you. That’s why this is a season to clearly distinguish between what is precious and what is vile, between what draws you closer to God and what pulls you away.

Your moral values, your sense of right and wrong, your spiritual sensitivity—these are treasures worth defending. Above all, the Lord says, “Guard your heart with all diligence.” When your heart is protected, your walk becomes steady, your discernment sharpens, and your spirit remains aligned with His.

Walking in the Spirit isn’t passive—it’s intentional. It’s choosing righteousness, choosing purity, choosing truth, and choosing to defend the sacred places within you.

🙏 Heartfelt Prayer

Father, thank You for reminding me to guard what is precious. Strengthen my discernment so I can clearly see what builds me up and what tears me down. Help me to walk in the Spirit and to protect my heart with diligence and wisdom. Empower me to defend righteousness in my thoughts, my choices, and my daily life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
