When God Makes a Way Forward
πͺ When
God Makes a Way Forward
π “And
not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation
produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.”
— Romans 5:1–4 (NKJV)

Devotional Thought
There are moments in life when every door seems closed and progress feels
impossible. In those seasons, despair can quietly settle into the soul if we
are not careful. Yet God assures us that even when the way forward is hidden,
He is already preparing an opening. Trials are not wasted; they shape our
endurance, refine our character, and deepen our hope. As you quiet your soul
and resist the pull of discouragement, you position yourself to recognize the
lessons and opportunities God reveals. Patience and persistence are not signs
of weakness—they are evidence of faith at work.
Lord, when I feel stuck and uncertain about what lies ahead, help me to trust
in Your perfect timing. Quiet my soul when anxiety rises and guard my heart
from despair. Grant me patience to endure and persistence to keep moving
forward, knowing that You are at work in ways I cannot yet see. Strengthen my
faith and fill me with hope as You lead me onward. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
πΆ Call
to Action
Take a moment today to reflect on a challenge you are facing. Instead of
focusing on the obstacle, ask God what lesson He may be teaching and what
opportunity He may be preparing. Choose patience and take one faithful step
forward.
